Volunteer Calendar for Fall 2024

Scheduling

  • Please see the schedule below for your date and time of sampling. If conflicts arise, please contact staff.
  • For creek water quality, Dawn Patrol, and phytoplankton volunteers, please contact Kendra (ktwist@mbnep.org) with any scheduling questions. For Cuesta student volunteers, please contact Emma (edyson@mbnep.org).

Accessing the Equipment Room

  • The main office building is currently open daily from 11AM to 5PM.
  • If you need to access the building outside of normal hours, please contact staff.

Online Resources for Volunteers

  • The Estuary Program has been working to go digital! While all of our current protocols will remain available to volunteers in hard copy form, we’re hoping to provide an online platform for volunteer resources.
  • All volunteers will now have access to a Google Drive folder, which will house all current protocols, policies, maps as well as additional resources. Click this link to access the Google Drive folder.
  • If you have any suggestions for additional resources that you’d like to see, please contact Makenzie (moconnor@mbnep.org).

Looking for other ways to stay involved with the Estuary Program?

      • Keep up to date with our events on our Events webpage
      • Follow us on social media @morrobaynep
      • Participate in the rain gage network (check out this blog post to learn more about this effort).
      • Conduct your own watershed clean-up, using our Trash Tracker.
      • Send us photos! If you are able to go outsides for hikes or walks around the watershed, we’d love to see your pictures.
